Rescue Mission shows love with shelter from the cold | Wyoming
wyoming rescue mission

The Wyoming Rescue Mission (WRM) shows love to those struggling with homelessness by providing daily meals, overnight shelter, clothing and counseling. With this year’s early onset of winter and the lower than expected temperatures, those services are more vital than ever.

More than 4,000 guests sought shelter from the cold in October 2019 - up 49 percent from the same month in 2018.

Black Hills Energy employees wanted to do something to help, and so organized donations to help the WRM. The funds will be used to provide physical shelter, food, bedding, case management services, heat, electricity, education, and essential life-skills training.
