Hands-on learning puts Cub Scouts in middle of the action | Nebraska
Cub Scouts Nebraska

In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

The local 461 Cub Scout unit in Papillion, Nebraska got to learn about natural gas by visiting the Black Hills Energy operations facility.

The scouts learned about how natural gas gets to homes and businesses and participated in demonstrations with locators, CGIs, Permaserts, and meters.

They also got to get close up with crew trucks, a vac trailer and an excavator.

Black Hills Energy is proud to support organizations like the Cub Scouts.
