Custom rebate program
Installing energy-efficient technology is a smart way to lower your energy bills. Now, through our custom rebate program, you can also reduce the installed cost of the equipment.
Examples of technologies that may be eligible in the is program include:
- Chiller and Unitary HVAC equipment
- High Efficiency Refrigeration Equipment
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Process Related Equipment for Industrial or Agricultural Customers
- Energy Management and Control Systems
- Measures not covered in the Prescriptive Rebate program

In order to be eligible for a custom rebate, please fill out the application form and submit to Black Hills Energy. A customer who proceeds without pre-approval or applies to the custom program after the project has been completed may not be eligible for consideration of a custom rebate. Incomplete or incorrect applications may be delayed. Please do not use this form for rebates on measures that are covered by the Prescriptive Rebate Program. Prescriptive measures must be submitted on the Commercial Prescriptive Rebate application form separately. |

- Funding for these rebates is limited. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please allow at least 7 to 10 business days to receive response on project application.
