Black Hills Energy spent the day with high school seniors helping them prepare for the responsibilities of life after high school.

The Real-Life Academy assigns students with everyday obstacles to learn how to work through things like utility payments, insurance decisions, day care options, home buying and more. Each student’s goal is to end with a positive bank balance after the exercise - and learn a lot during the process.

We are proud to support the Dyersville Chamber with this event each year, and enjoy teaching the students about our company.
