Stuffing Backpacks with the United Way Kearney, Nebraska
As a local United Way board member, and Black Hills Energy employee, Laurie, and one of her granddaughters helped stuff 1,089 backpacks with school supplies for the Kearney, Nebraska area. These were be handed out to the kids last week. With all the volunteers it only took about 1 ½ hours to get them all filled!
