Iowa Senate recognizes Utility Workers Day
utility

Utility workers from Newton, Iowa, traveled to the Iowa Capitol to represent us as the Senate read Gov. Kim Reynold’s proclamation recognizing March 8 as Utility Workers Appreciation Day in Iowa.

Sen. Carrie Koelker of Dyersville led the initiative in appreciation of the critical work utility workers do 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When Sen. Koelker introduced the utility workers in attendance, the senators applauded them with a long standing ovation.

Thank you to our utility workers for your endless contributions to our business and your countless contributions to the communities we serve.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
