Arkansas team members support students going back to school
school

Team members in Blytheville, Arkansas, recently visited the local school district’s Back-to-School Bash to hand out candy and other prizes while sharing important info with parents.

Hollie, operations support specialist and an ambassador, and welder Kaegan talked with interested parents about programs offered, including our energy efficiency program, which offers rebates and other incentives to homeowners who incorporate energy efficiency practices into their homes and lives.

“The best part about the event was seeing the students and explaining the different programs that Black Hills Energy has,” says Hollie. “A lot of the parents had no idea we provide the services.”

Hollie and Kaegan also shared candy, drink koozies, hand sanitizer and more to parents and students.

Hollie says events like the Back-to-School Bash are important “so that the community can see a Black Hills Energy face, and we can provide positive energy back into the community.”

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
