Colton graduates from Leadership York, Nebraska
colton

Service specialist, Colton, recently graduated from a community-sponsored leadership training program in York, Nebraska.

Leadership York is a nine-month program that aims to identify and develop leadership skills and abilities among participants. Participants meet once a month to complete training exercises, tour the community and meet business leaders throughout the county. They also spend time in Lincoln at the Legislature and attend and report on local civic meetings.

Each class takes on a specific project to benefit an entity in the area and works together to bring it from idea and planning to completion.

“It was a great experience,” Colton says. “I learned a lot about my community that I wasn’t aware of and met a number of great people in the process.”

Congratulations Colton!
