Iowa team members have family fun at local parades
parade

Nothing captures community spirit like a small-town parade. They draw friends and neighbors together, highlight young musicians and local groups, and give kids an excuse to eat candy (like they need one!).

Many of our employees in Iowa have been celebrating their communities by participating in summer parades.

Jason, a community technician in Grundy Center, Iowa, drove a Black Hills Energy truck through the Felix Grundy Days parade with his family.

The Newton, Iowa, team walked in the Fourth of July parade in Newton handing out candy. Thanks to service technicians Brad and Andy; Matt, measurement, and corrosion supervisor; Dixie, operations support specialist; Summer, operations supervisor, and their families for participating.

We’re proud to be part of our communities!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
