Our service techs are known for their appliance expertise, but sometimes they’re at the right place at the right time to help in other ways, too.
Recently, our service tech, Doug, was visiting a home in Lincoln, Nebraska, to assist with an air conditioner. When Doug arrived, he discovered the customer had fallen and injured himself. Doug rushed to the man’s side, called for paramedics and tried without success to contact the man’s family. Doug stayed by the customer’s side, keeping him calm and comfortable, until the ambulance arrived.
Well done, Doug! We truly believe that not all heroes wear capes—some wear Black Hills Energy shirts!
We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
