Harrison chamber partnership boosts thriving region in Arkansas
Harrison, Arkansas Chamber luncheon

We appreciate our long-standing community partnership with the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce in north Arkansas.

As a champion host sponsor for the chamber’s annual meeting on March 14, team members Mike Kite, Sam Eaves, Scotty Edmonson, Colin Jackson, Mindy Butler and Robin Mizell were on hand to recognize contributions by community and business leaders, along with outstanding youth, to this thriving region.

Black Hills Energy received the Prime Business of the Year award in 2020 for customer service, employee culture, job creation and overall excellence. Arkansas Secretary of Commerce Hugh McDonald, newly appointed by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and a veteran in the energy industry in the state, was the keynote speaker for the luncheon.

The Harrison chamber continues to find new, creative ways to attract, collaborate and support business and industry in Harrison, where Black Hills Energy serves more than 6,600 customers. We serve an additional 500 more in other Boone County communities.

This chamber greatly supported public safety education over the past year by sharing Black Hills Energy’s messages regarding Call 811 before you dig, energy efficiency and winter ready. These were shared in its e-newsletters and on social media channels. We appreciate the chamber’s economic development leadership and community impact partnership, and we enjoyed touring the chamber’s new office in downtown Harrison following the luncheon.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
