Reading 9 to 5 in Arkansas
pile of books

In the famous words of American children’s author, Dr. Seuss, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go!”

For some of us, our journey with reading began in the pages of a picture book. And for others it may have begun at school with a teacher reading to us. No matter what your relationship with reading looks like today, it is important to remember that we all had to start somewhere.

One way our company is supporting the spread of early-childhood literacy in Carroll County, Arkansas, is through our recent contribution to the Carroll County Youth Literacy Rotary Foundation. They are a community-based Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, working toward spreading the joy of reading to youth among many other amazing things.

The Imagination Library provides children under the age of 5 with a free age-appropriate book mailed directly to their home every month. Our recent contribution helped the Carroll County Youth Literacy Rotary Foundation hit 2,000 registrations to the Imagination Library!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
