Tie blankets for the kids in South Dakota
tie blanket making

South Dakota ambassadors and Horizon Point employees took time over their lunch hour to make tie blankets for the Children's Home Society. They made 10 twin-sized blankets.

The Children's Home Society gives a new blanket to each child on their residential campus, in their therapeutic foster care program, the family engagement program and all kids coming in for a forensic interview.

Children's Home Society of South Dakota is the state's oldest human service nonprofit organization, serving as South Dakota's primary orphanage and adoption agency for more than 70 years. Over the years, they have continued to expand their continuum of programs to meet the evolving needs of children and families. These include emergency shelter and crisis intervention, forensic interviews and advocacy, residential treatment and education, adoption and foster care, nurse-family visitation and prevention education and training.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
