We’ve completed our rate review request to recover integrity, reliability and growth investments for natural gas service for our approximately 117,000 customers in 66 communities in Kansas.
The program is designed to promote the construction of energy efficient single family and multifamily homes by providing incentives to new home builders for the installation of high-efficiency heating and water heating equipment and thermal envelope measures.

We deliver natural gas to your home or business through a system of underground pipelines. While natural gas has an excellent safety record, it’s important to know a few basic principles to stay safe.
We're in the process of replacing an aging natural gas pipeline in western Colorado.
The project is part of a regional plan to ensure our critical infrastructure is ready to meet the needs of growing communities and continuing to deliver the safe, reliable natural gas to our customers.
In addition to upgrading existing pipeline, some infrastructure will also be relocated from within city limits to less densely populated areas. Reclamation and restoration efforts will be implemented once the construction of the pipeline is complete.
In 2019, Black Hills Colorado Gas submitted a proposal to the Colorado Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) asking to consolidate the rates, tariffs and services of our existing gas territories in Colorado. The rate review also proposed to recover investments in safety, reliability and system integrity for natural gas service to our 192,000 Colorado customers.
