We, as leaders, must look first at ourselves for personal learning and change. Only then can we reasonably invite others to learn, grow and change. Leaders recognize that change is a choice that is made by the individual. We cannot change others. We can lead them and invite them to change through our example.

Our History

Our History

Beginning with the Black Hills Gold Rush, generations of families have relied on us. And we’ve been ready.

Community impact

We are much more than an energy company. We live and work in the cities, towns and rural areas we serve, and we strive to be strong partners in so many ways. We believe in investing in local businesses, giving back to organizations and helping families in need.

In 2018, we invested over $4.1 million in our communities.

Colorado utilities are required by law to have franchise agreements with the cities and towns they serve.
